Kat Pfannenstiel

Dr. Kathleen Pfannenstiel serves as a technical assistance provider for the PROGRESS center and has expertise in special education, MTSS, evidence-based practices, and continuous improvement. Dr. Pfannenstiel is the principal investigator for an OSEP mathematics model demonstration grant, and serves as the co-lead of the Evidence-Based Practices Cross-State Learning Collaborative for the National Center on Systemic Improvement. She has taught public school in Illinois and Texas at the elementary, middle, and high school levels, and has instructed undergraduate and graduate classes in special education. Dr. Pfannenstiel earned a doctorate in special education from the University of Texas at Austin, with an emphasis on learning disabilities and behavior disorders.
