Technical Assistance Provider
Lois Kimmel is a technical assistance provider for the PROGRESS Center, where she supports the development and dissemination of universal technical assistance products and intensive technical assistance. In addition to her role for the PROGRESS Center, she focuses on building the capacity of teachers, leaders, faculty, and policymakers to implement evidence-based practices to improve outcomes for students with disabilities. She has supported program and coursework improvement at educator preparation programs through the CEEDAR Center. Substantive areas of experience and expertise include educator talent management, teacher preparation, inclusive leadership, and education policy. Ms. Kimmel is a former middle school interventionist and a current master’s candidate at Georgetown University.
