Resources for Educators & Related Service Providers
Educators and related service providers have a critical role in the development and implementation of high-quality educational programming for students with disabilities. Through specially designed instruction, supportive services, and accommodations and modifications, educators and service providers are able to meet the unique needs of students with disabilities, help them achieve challenging goals, and assist them in accessing the general education curriculum. In addition, educators and related service providers have an important role in monitoring and reporting student progress to families and adjusting the student’s program based on ongoing data. Collaboration is a key skill for educators and related service providers when working with students with disabilities.
