Are you a principal, general or special education teacher, local director, related service provider, superintendent, or other school personnel interested in helping to shape the PROGRESS Center’s efforts to promote progress for students with disabilities? The PROGRESS Center is looking for 2-3 educators to serve as Educator in Residence from November 2021 to November 2022. Educators in Residence will engage in and provide feedback on the development, implementation, and refinement of Center activities impacted by COVD-19, as well as pilot and disseminate Center resources.
We are looking for educators who are interested and available to commit about 40 hours of time across the year through a variety of activities. Current Educators in Residence have helped to develop a podcast for educators by educators, presented conference presentations and webinars, reviewed PROGRESS resources prior to release, attended thought leader events, and provided feedback and input across Center activities. All educators receive compensation for their time as a resident.
