Sara has been serving students with disabilities for over 25 years providing special education program services to students ages 3 – 21. Primarily serving as a generalist in the resource room setting, Sara transitioned to IDEA program support and administrative management in 2014. After many years in traditional public schools Sara decided to move to a public charter school agency where she currently coordinates special education program services for over 40 public charter schools. Sara is a strong supporter of the MTSS model and believes that school and family partnerships are critical to student success. She is continuously striving to improve outcomes for students with disabilities by providing coaching, mentoring, and professional development opportunities, technical assistance, compliance audits and data analysis to the schools and staff she serves.
