Kaitlin Anderson, PhD
Knowledge Development Researcher
Dr. Kaitlin Anderson is a knowledge development researcher for the PROGRESS Center. Currently, she supports the Beating-The-Odds project, investigating the practices that highly effective schools use to support the educational progress of students with disabilities. In addition, at AIR, Dr. Anderson supports program evaluation related to special education and multi-tiered systems of supports. Prior to joining AIR, she was an Evidence Advisor in the North Carolina Office of Strategic partnerships, an Assistant Professor of Educational Leadership at Lehigh University in Bethlehem, PA, a post-doctoral researcher in the Education Policy Innovation Collaborative at Michigan State University, and a high school mathematics teacher. Dr. Anderson has extensive experience presenting to policymakers, educational leaders, and researchers, and has coauthored over 20 peer-reviewed publications on various topics related to educational policy, leadership, and program evaluation. Dr. Anderson has a Ph.D. in education policy from the University of Arkansas.
