Marisa delaCruz Irvine, serves as project coordinator for the PROGRESS Center where she supports project reporting, budgeting, and staffing. Ms. Irvine also acts as the project manager for the TeacherRead Project, an IES-funded, early literacy research project conducted in New York City early childhood education centers and as a Technical Assistant Specialist for the Violence Prevention Technical Assistance Center, funded through the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. In addition, she oversees and guides the planning and implementation of multiple events, including the annual, OSEP-funded Project Directors’ and Leadership Conferences. Ms. Irvine earned a Masters of Public Policy from the Georgetown University Public Policy Institute.
