Stacy Hirt, PHD
Knowledge Development Lead
Stacy M. Hirt, PhD, serves as a knowledge development lead for the PROGRESS Center. In this role, she supports policy scans, literature reviews, site visits, and focus groups to identify best practices and challenges faced by stakeholders developing and implementing high-quality educational programming. In addition, Stacy supports research, technical assistance, and dissemination for the CEEDAR Center, Center on Multi-Tiered System of Supports, and National Center on Intensive Intervention. Prior to joining AIR, Stacy was an OSEP-funded Project PRISM interdisciplinary scholar at the University of Missouri-Columbia in the Department of Special Education. Stacy has over 16 years of special education field experience (K-12) serving as a learning specialist and a district-wide behavior specialist.
