The Lead for Literacy Center (L4L) provides tools, resources, and professional learning to build local capacity for educating students with, or at risk for, literacy-related disabilities in elementary schools. In this webinar, Abigail Foley, L4L Deputy Director, and Cory Stai, L4L Literacy Coach, modeled tools that school leaders and educators can use to enhance schoolwide reading systems and improve implementation of evidence-based literacy practices within non-public schools. Presenters shared free resources that can be used within existing literacy initiatives and systems to maximize the quality of instructional opportunities offered to all students.
At the end of this webinar, participants will be able to:
- Define elements of high-quality, literacy focused educational programming
- Describe effective strategies for teaching and assessing students who may be struggling in reading
- Access tools and resources that support the continuous improvement of a comprehensive schoolwide reading system
The webinar recording will be posted after the live event.
