What do you need to know to develop and implement high-quality instructional programming to ensure that students with disabilities have access to free appropriate public education (FAPE)? What resources are available to support you? Prepping for PROGRESS 2024: Better Together! Collectively Promoting Progress for Students with Disabilities was held on July 29–30, 2024 to support general and special educators, local leaders, professional development providers, faculty, and other partners who support students with disabilities.
The event included keynote addresses, panels, strand sessions, resource deep dives, and concurrent sessions on a range of topics. Examples of topics include developing and implementing high-quality individualized education programs (IEPs), ensuring access and progress in the general curriculum through high-expectations and high-quality instruction, supporting educators through coaching and self-directed learning, collaboration across general and special education leaders, teaching students how to use cognitive and metacognitive strategies to support learning, and more!
Thank you to everyone who joined us! The event lobby will open to participants through August 30, 2024.
