The IEP team members are responsible for working together to develop your child’s individualized education program (IEP). As the parent, you are an important member of the IEP team! The IEP development brings together the knowledge and expertise of all team members. This tip sheet reviews the members of the IEP team and their roles. It highlights required members and additional members who may be beneficial in developing an IEP that best meets your child's needs. Some key questions to consider and additional resources are included.
