Lindsey Hayes, PhD, is a national leader in special education personnel preparation. As co director of the CEEDAR Center, she works with state education agencies, educator preparation programs, and local districts to build the capacity of state personnel preparation systems. Dr. Hayes’s work focuses on evidence based strategies for recruiting, preparing, and retaining effective educators; expanding high quality pathways to the profession; and addressing personnel shortages.
