Jerry Diaz Presenting in CNMI

PROGRESS Center's Dr. Tessie Bailey and Sara Evans spent the last week working with Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands (CNMI's) Project Higai team in Saipan. Project Higai is a state personnel development grant awarded to CNMI's Public School System by the U.S. Department of Education's Office of Special Education Program. At the conclusion of the week, the team collaborated with educators, advocates, community leaders and other stakeholders to inform the project and enhance the CNMI's online professional development system for professionals and families so they can improve the educational outcomes for students with disabilities. A recent article in Marianas Variety News & Views newspaper highlights the work of the team.
