Successful Strategies for Inclusive Education in East Baton Rouge Parish Schools

This video features East Baton Rouge Parish School System's efforts to improve access and outcomes for students with disabilities. The video describes how the district has focused on inclusive leadership, staff collaboration, attention to scheduling, family engagement, supporting school staff, and providing numerous supports to help students explore career opportunities and prepare for post school success. East Baton Rouge Parish School System worked collaboratively with the PROGRESS Center from 2020-2024. Through this partnership they receive professional learning on the development and implementation of high-quality educational programing and experience individualized coaching based on identified goals and needs.
