The presentation shared a video highlighting the districts efforts and outcomes and a panel with the district leaders and PROGRESS staff. The article describes how East Baton Rouge Parish Schools worked to improve parent-school relationships, provided professional development opportunities for staff, prioritized scheduling, focused on improving IEPs, and proactively consider assistive technology and other services and supports in order to improve the inclusion and outcomes of students with disabilities in their district. The article also highlights lessons learned from the partnership with the PROGRESS Center.
