Dr. Francisco Durán is the Superintendent of Arlington Public Schools in Arlington, Virginia. Dr. Durán has a diverse background in education spanning 26 years, including top-level leadership and superintendent experience in a variety of large urban school divisions. Deanna Parish

Deanna Parish has been serving students with disabilities for over 25 years. As a classroom teacher, she worked with students with intellectual disabilities, specializing in students with extensive support needs. Deanna has also served as a lead teacher, working with other teachers of students with low incidence disabilities. Her passion for teacher training was ignited through serving as a cooperating teacher for pre-service teacher candidates and as a coach for in-service special education teachers.

Carol Moriarty

Carol Moriarty is a special education teacher in Phoenix, Arizona and a doctoral student at Northern Arizona University. In 2016, she graduated with her Master’s in special education with an emphasis on transition services. She is currently working on her EdD in Organizational Leadership. Her research area is postsecondary opportunities related to community participation, involvement, and engagement for individuals with complex multiple disabilities.

Gabi Aragon is a Student Support Specialist in the Diocese of Austin. She has over 13 years of experience in the education field working in both the public, private, and clinical sectors. She has worked as a special education teacher, general education teacher, and Board Certified Behavior Analyst. She earned her Masters in Education from the University of Texas at Austin with a concentration in Autism and Developmental Disabilities. She has worked with schools, parents, teachers, and support staff to develop and implement individualized programs for children ranging from age 2 to 16.
